Meet Carrie Nelson

For more than 30 years, I've helped organizations navigate one of the most challenging aspects of running a business—leading people.

As an industrial-organizational psychologist, HR consultant, educator, and author, I've partnered with organizations of all sizes to solve complex workplace challenges, strengthen leadership, and build practical HR systems that support long-term success. Whether I'm serving as a fractional HR leader, guiding an executive team through change, or helping a growing business build stronger people practices, my goal is always the same: to provide practical solutions that help businesses thrive while creating stronger workplaces.

Beyond Consulting

Learning has always been central to my career. In addition to consulting, I teach graduate-level business courses as an adjunct professor, design new academic programs and courses, and create practical resources for today's leaders. I'm also the author of The Next Wave of People Management, where I explore how practical leadership and AI can work together to build stronger workplaces.

Outside of work, I enjoy giving back to my community as a Make-A-Wish Wish Granter and by serving on the board of my local Humane Society. These experiences reinforce what I believe every day: strong organizations are built by leaders who genuinely care about people.
